Summer Solstice Events at Harmonic Earth

Join us Thursday June 21 on the Summer Solstice for these nourishing offerings:

Qi Gong at 8am

This unique Qi Gong class is centered around a simple practice called the Eight Immortal Movements. “It is an ancient form of energy enhancement based on the natural motion of the heavenly bodies. This is one way of experiencing that each life is a small model of nature.” The 8 Jewels have been practiced by Qi gong masters for over 800 years, recognized and understood as eight of the most powerful health enhancing and easily practiced movements of all the energetic systems. This practice has stood the test of time in it’s effectiveness and simplicity, making it accessible to all, giving the maximum benefit with minimum effort. It’s vitalizing and empowering qualities are numerable. “ The Eight treasures is effective in building up energy throughout the body, and particularly in the limbs, where it will then flow into and circulate, supporting the internal organs. It thoroughly works all the energy channels in the body in a precise and effortless way.” Additional experience: This practice will be rounded with additional medicinal movement practices from other aboriginal ( of origin ) systems that Terry is experienced with. This is a ‘failure free’ experience with emphasis on the enjoyment and participation rather than the execution of the movements. There is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way, only ways to increase the benefits of the practice. Your guide: Your instructor Terry Kvasnik has spent his lifetime in movement. Fifteen years in gymnastic from the age of 3 evolved into a performance career in circus and entertainment utilizing his acrobatic, martial arts and dance prowess. Terry’s lifelong global pursuit of healing and movement arts has deepened and enriched his artistic, physical and spiritual growth and expression. His great passion and twenty years of teaching experience informs the extensive programs and classes he’s designed to uplift his students.

Gong Sound Bath at 12pm

Join us on this potent Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, for an immersive, nourishing, soul-envigorating harmonic experience of sound healing. Long-time sound alchemist Alarra Saress will serenade you as you dive into your inner world, your heart’s intention, your sacred relaxation. The magnificent 38″ Sedna gong, crystal didgeridoo, planetary chimes, pentatonic glockenspiel, ocarinas, singing bowls and Alarra’s voice will carry you on a unique and otherworldly journey of embodiment and grace. Arrive at 11:50am to pick your favorite spot. Bring extra pillow and blanket if you have a favorite setup for lying in a savasana-esque pose for an hour. $10 Suggested Donation.
